Shuttle and valet parking explained

Parklumo distinguishes between different service models for airport parking offers. Two common models are shuttle parking and valet parking.

With shuttle parking, the parking facility is located away from the terminal or on a separate parking site. Transfer between the parking facility and the terminal is typically provided by a shuttle service.

With valet parking, the vehicle is typically handed over to authorised service staff at an agreed handover point and is then parked by the provider.

Parklumo will show which service models are actually offered at Düsseldorf Airport only after the relevant operator and offer data have been approved. In the current public launch stage, no specific offers, prices, availability or booking options are published yet.
